Maple Grove Elementary:

Maple Grove Elementary welcomes kids in kindergarten through 5th grade from the Applewood neighborhood!

Maple Grove is also the Jeffco Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Center school serving students who are deaf or hard of hearing from across the district, starting with our DHH preschool program. Maple Grove teachers and staff prepare students with the academic knowledge and lifelong learning skills they need to be successful.

We maintain a strong commitment to developing the whole child by implementing best instructional practices and providing social-emotional learning supports as well as creating an excellent learning experience for every student. Students have opportunities for hands-on STEM experiences and access to a variety of after school clubs such as ASL (American Sign Language), choir, robotics, chess and many more.

Thanks to the ongoing partnership with the Maple Grove PTA and the generous school community, Maple Grove will have no changes to current staffing or programming for the 2026 - 2027 school year. Maple Grove is deeply appreciative for the support of the community so that teachers and staff can continue ensuring that all students at Maple Grove grow to their greatness!

The Manning School of Academics & Arts

At Manning, excellence is not just a goal — it’s a daily commitment. This year, our students and staff continue to demonstrate what makes our school community exceptional. From vibrant student artwork transforming our hallways into gallery spaces, to strong academic achievement across grade levels, Manning students consistently rise to high expectations. Our classrooms are places of curiosity, collaboration, and meaningful learning, where teachers design engaging lessons that challenge students while supporting their individual needs.

A hallmark of Manning is our award-winning STEAM program, where learning extends far beyond the traditional classroom. Our student engineers are led through a disciplined process of discovery where they engage in authentic, real-world challenges that integrate science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Students design and construct sustainable cities of the future, apply coding and engineering principles in competitive robotics, and are one of a handful of middle schools in the country that develop and prototype solutions through the NASA HUNCH program.

Our results demonstrate the level of excellence that we strive for. Last year, Manning sent four teams to the NASA HUNCH finals at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX: as many as any high school in the nation.

Most recently, Manning had more teams advance to the Jeffco District Robotics Finals than any other school in the district where one of our teams, together with a team from another school, were paired together and finished first.

Through hands-on design challenges, collaborative problem-solving, and opportunities to learn from failure by iterating and improving their work, our STEAM program builds critical thinking, creativity, resilience, and leadership skills. At Manning, we are not just educating students; we are empowering resilient innovators, creators, and problem-solvers to thrive in an ever-changing world.
