Max Plumb Memorial Golf Tournament
The Max Plumb Memorial Golf Tournament, now in its 7th year, is more than a day on the course. Hosted by the Applewood Community Foundation, this heartfelt event brings neighbors together to uplift youth, support schools, and invest in stronger, healthier communities.

Golden Bike Cruise
The Golden Bicycle Cruise is a family-friendly event held on the last Tuesday evening of the month, May through September. Participants cruise along the bike paths and streets of Golden. The rides are themed, and riders are encouraged to wear costumes and decorate their bikes. 100-150 riders of all ages participate. Each cruise features a different Golden band and two prize drawings. Beer from New Terrain Brewery is paired with burgers from Bob's Atomic Burgers. 5280 Magazine has called the Golden Bike Cruise one of the "5 Best Social Bike Rides Around Denver"!
5:30-9 pm at 818 14th St, behind the Armory building.
The theme is USA 250 Years.
The band is Dollhouse Thieves.

Bike to Work Day
5-9am Bill Coors Wellness station at 12th/Ford will have bagels, coffee, clementines, ZOA energy drinks, and bananas
6-9 am Golden Fire Stations 21 (911 10th St) and 24 (151 Heritage Rd) will have refreshments and swag in partnership with Martin Marietta
6-9 am Golden’s Vanover Park station at 10th/Ford will have bike tunes and a raffle
7-8:30 am Maple Grove Park station will have breakfast burritos and coffee from TheCyclist-Lawyer.com
7-10 am 20th/Youngfield station will have burritos, granola bars, coffee and water from Sustainable Applewood
7-9:30 am Denver West Office Park station (1546 Cole Blvd) will have water, juice and small breakfast items
Applewood Shred-A-Thon & Fundraiser
Join the Applewood Community Foundation for another fun (and useful) community event and fundraiser!
An accumulation of insecure and outdated documents can put you at risk. They invite you to bring a box of your sensitive documents, tax forms, and/or junk mail to be shredded for free! Shredded papers will be baled and recycled thanks to our partner, Altitude DocuShred!
