Slash Day Success

Way to rock the Firewise prep, Applewood! During our April free slash drop-off with Prospect Recreation & Park District, our volunteers collected slash from nine households and dropped off 72 cubic yards of flammable limbs and branches. Those of you who dropped off your own slash kept busy six PPRD employees and two chippers for most of the morning. Keep a lookout for our next neighborhood Firewise event.
